V Server accesses PLC from the office PC via MONITOUCH through Ethernet to collect real-time data without additional programming. Together, this cost-saving software package enables you to monitor and operate your plant, anywhere, anytime. Onsite Monitouch data can be accessed and used for remote maintenance from your office PC. V-Server enables easy data collection and management of real-time onsite data. Quick recovery of production lines is possible with no extra cost and no loss of time. Real-time monitoring from remote locations and solving problems without visiting the site helps maintain uptime and production.

It facilitates the implementation of smart factories that effectively utilize data and uses Windows as a gateway from the production sites to the IT systems. Functioning as a link to efficiently communicate between the factory and offices or cloud systems. The X1 series is equipped with OPC UA server and client, so data can be collected by connecting to both offices and production sites. Even if devices at the production site are incompatible with OPC UA, the X1 series can fulfil the role of a gateway to OPC UA in order to transfer data to OPC UA clients in the host system. OPC UA enables data sharing between production sites and the host system, and facilitates the standardization of equipment.

By connecting a PC to a V9 via wireless LAN, screen data can be shared and ladder programs transferred to the PLC (Fuji Drive and Automation). There is no need to physically connect the units and it is easy to debug programs on site. Vertical display and edits on the screen are possible (by left or right turning). Images can be laid out four times the screen size in height or width according to your needs. The displayed image can be magnified up to 200% by pinching out the screen, and reduced to the original size by pinching it in. Operation logs can be searched for by specifying an operator or date and time. The log viewer is simply accessed by selecting it from the drop-down menu. There is no need to create a new display area. Error messages are described in a sentence for easy comprehension.

The screens come in 2 different sizes (7 inches or 10 inches) to fulfil every system need. They can be remotely monitored and operated using the TELLUS application software. Up to 8 types of PLC or other devices of various models from multiple manufacturers can be connected at the same time via both an Ethernet and serial connection. They can be easily set up with the VNC viewer tool on a computer to monitor and operate TS1000 Smart screens on the factory floor via the same computer over Ethernet connection. In addition, monitoring and operations can be easily conducted from a tablet device over wireless router. Through the V-Server, production performance, defects and causes of stoppage data can be collected and stored in the server database from the TS1000 Smart screens.
